Through one sleepless night, Bedfellows follows three relationships held between two bodies. Queering our understanding of what a partnership can be, they test where the lines of parental, platonic, romantic and sexual relationships blur, diverge and intersect. Bedfellows interrupts conventional limits, questioning kinship ties and examining the many roles we have to play for each other when we live amongst chosen family. As they lie foot-to-foot on a 4-meter long bed, they can’t help but wonder: who are we to each other? Bedfellows will see the Roundhouse’s Studio Theatre transformed into an intimate domestic space and invites audiences to explore the space and watch the performance unfold.
