oin The Poetry Society for an open mic on the National Poetry Day theme of play! Come and see the brilliant Bradley Taylor perform a headline set, and get the chance to read your work at London’s most iconic poetry venue. Doors open at 7pm, event starts promptly at 7:30pm. A ticket does not guarantee an open mic slot. If you wish to sign up for a 3-minute open mic slot, please arrive at The Poetry Café between 7 and 7:30. Names will go into a hat and 15 slots will be picked out at random. Sign-up on the door only! Please do not arrive earlier than 7pm as doors will be closed. Open mic poems must be on the theme of ‘play’. We’re able to offer 2 bursary tickets to this open mic for those facing financial difficulty. Please email info@poetrysociety.org.uk to request one of the places. No proof of financial difficulty is required. Please note this is an 18+ event.
